- Own the month-end close process and reduce days-to-close cycle.
- Ensure timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee AP/AR, general ledger, payroll, inventory accounting, and reconciliations.
- Partner with external accounting/tax resources as needed.
- Lead the migration from QuickBooks to NetSuite including vendor configuration, testing, training, and rollout.
- Build and document scalable processes, SOPs, and internal controls.
- Identify and implement improvements across procurement, inventory, and cost tracking systems.
- Serve as a key business partner to the leadership team to align financial practices with operational goals.
- Provide forward-looking insight around cash flow, margins, and profitability across product lines.
- Drive forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning, with an emphasis on decision-making support.
- Embrace a bootstrapped mindset—balancing growth with sound financial judgment.
- Provide financial evaluation and ROI analyses for marketing campaigns, product development, and new vendor partnerships.
- Develop models that help guide investment decisions and vendor negotiations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 6–10+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally within high-growth or CPG/eCommerce environments.
- Demonstrated success in reducing month-end close timelines and leading ERP implementations.
- Deep fluency in GAAP accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting best practices.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with NetSuite a plus.
- High-growth mindset with the ability to execute quickly and iterate with changing business needs.

- Strong communication skills to guide, train, and build trust with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
