- Lead requirements gathering meetings for customer journeys or campaigns utilizing Marketing Cloud assets.
- Collaborate closely with the Salesforce Marketing Operations Manager for project planning and enablement.
- Identify project technical requirements and plan the workflow of Salesforce marketing team projects.
- Lead and implement the design of Marketing Cloud solutions, delegating or performing technical engineering tasks as necessary.
- Enable the business to achieve its goals by leveraging your expertise to make campaigns work in a complex organizational environment.
- Creatively solve problems that arise during campaign execution.
- Drive platform enablement of Marketing Cloud Engagement, Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama), and Marketing Cloud Personalization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including management, directors, and technical subject matter experts.
- Provide guidance and training to the marketing team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and Salesforce Marketing Cloud releases to ensure the business receives the latest innovations.
- Advise the business on legal considerations around prospect communications.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure campaign initiatives can be met while adhering to industry best practices.
- Analyze and suggest enhancements for existing Marketing Cloud to Salesforce or Data Cloud integration.
- Plan long-term data ingestion, lead routing, and platform improvements with the CRM Team.
- 2 of the following 3 Salesforce Certifications - Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Admin, Marketing Cloud Consultant.
- Several years of experience as a consultant, architect, or admin on the Marketing Cloud Engagement platform.
- Exposure to Marketing Cloud Intelligence (formerly known as Datorama) and Personalization.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, or a related field, OR 4 years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
- Demonstrated technical expertise of Marketing Cloud Engagement core platform.
- Experience working for a large organization with a complex customer database.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as CSS, IS, JavaScript, HTML, Python, SQL, Ampscript, or C++.
