Job Title: Design EngineerJob DescriptionAs a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing new products and enhancing existing ones. Your role involves evaluating products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability. You will collaborate with other engineering staff to ensure timely completion of production tasks. This position requires a bachelor's degree in the relevant specialty and 0-2 years of experience in the field or a related area. You should possess knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in your field and be able to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new products.
  • Improve existing product designs.
  • Evaluate products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering staff to ensure production is completed on time.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in design software such as Creo.
  • Background in mechanical design and mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in new product development.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in the engineering field or a related area.
Work EnvironmentThe work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM. This is a 4-month contract position with a large C&IP Manufacturing company.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Hesston, Kansas.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
