We are looking for strong, energetic, people-focused team members who will help us redefine the car-buying experience.The Assistant Office Manager is responsible for the financial condition of the dealership, and directing the overall financial planning, budgeting and accounting practices. As with all positions within dealerships, controller/ business managers are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards.
  • Assist in overseeing the financial and accounting system and personnel of the office
  • Assist in preparing monthly budgets and financial statements
  • Assist in forecasting financial goals for each quarter to maintain the dealership’s profitability
  • Assist in processing all insurance claims and liability insurance
  • Review all financial statements and ledgers, and working with the accounting staff to clear up any discrepancies
  • Meet with the staff regularly to go over business matters and develop plans to increase profitability
  • Assistant Office Managers should have strong communications, customer service, leadership and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, or the equivalent, is expected and familiarity with additional accounting software programs is valued
  • Previous automotive experience required
  • Must have a minimum of five to seven years of relevant experience
  • A high school degree or equivalent is required and an accounting or business administration degree is preferred. Courses in mathematics, business and accounting are beneficial
  • Some dealerships may require a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)certification
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must be able to pass pre employment screens (background and drug test)
