Floating Property Manager (Affordable)

- Manage day-to-day operations of multiple affordable housing properties, traveling between locations as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable affordable housing regulations and Fair Housing laws
- Oversee tenant relations, including leasing, move-ins, move-outs, and conflict resolution
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, working closely with on-site staff and contractors
- Conduct regular property inspections and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Prepare and manage property budgets, financial reports, and occupancy reports
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to maintain high occupancy rates
- Train and supervise on-site property management staff
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless property operations
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in affordable housing regulations
- 2-3 years of experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing.
- Proficiency in YARDI, Knock and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of affordable housing regulations, compliance requirements, and Fair Housing laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, staff, and partners
- Proven problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Experience in budget preparation and financial reporting
- Ability to travel between multiple properties and adapt to changing work environments
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field (preferred)
- Property Management Certification (e.g., CPM, ARM) (preferred)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual skills a plus
