- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and retail space.
- Notifies management of customer complaints, as well as any concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
- Ensures the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the Travel Center complex meets company standards.
- Maintains restrooms, checking for cleanliness and re-stocking supplies.
- Performs detailed cleaning of all restrooms once every week.
- Cleans showers immediately after each use following Bosselman Shower Cleaning procedures and performs a detailed cleaning of each shower once every other week.
- Completes entire work list each shift.
- Keeps all cleaning supplies stocked, labeled, and properly stored.
- Wipes down all equipment and game machines each shift, thoroughly cleans them once per week.
- Practices all company safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
- Answers radio calls promptly.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
- Ensures towels and cleaning rags are clean and folded and laundry has been processed.
- Provides friendly and competent customer service.
- Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled.
- Assists in other duties, as assigned.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
- General custodial experience preferred.
- Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
- Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change when required.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
- Must be well groomed and properly attired.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and any shift needed.
- Must have reliable transportation and phone.
- Must be able to communicate in English. – IF APPLICABLE

- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs., while performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear.
- Physical attendance at the primary work location is required.
