The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, number of months worked, as well as internal equity among our team.Salary band reflects a 9-month base salaryPart-time, .5 FTEThe College of St. Scholastica is seeking to fill a baccalaureate faculty position preparing students for entry level generalist practice. The 0.5 FTE Undergraduate Nursing Faculty will be responsible for teaching faculty-led clinical experiences within the prelicensure nursing program at The College of St. Scholastica. This position focuses exclusively on clinical instruction and evaluation, with no assigned classroom teaching or student advising responsibilities. The faculty member will collaborate closely with the Director of Clinical Education and Clinical Course Leads to support high-quality clinical learning environments and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical evaluation methods and student outcomes. A master’s degree in nursing is strongly preferred, and an active Minnesota RN license is required at the time of hire. This is a non-tenure track position and is not eligible for promotion in rank.Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate and interact effectively with diverse students, faculty, and staff
Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in nursing is required, or a graduate degree in nursing in progress, or willingness to start a graduate program upon hire
  • Professional nursing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in teams
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn and use multiple technology platforms
  • Demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills and multicultural competency
  • Demonstrated experience interacting effectively with diverse groups/populations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in nursing
  • Teaching experience
