Respiratory Therapist - Lead Clinical PractitionerJoin our prestigious healthcare facility as a Lead Respiratory Therapist, where you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional respiratory care to patients across multiple specialized units. This autonomous position offers the unique opportunity to be the primary respiratory care provider during your shift, backed by comprehensive support and training.Essential Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary respiratory care provider during assigned shifts
Perform and assist with patient intubations as a key backup resource
Deliver respiratory care across multiple units including ED, Surgical, Cardiac, and Orthopedic
Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Monitor and evaluate patient response to respiratory interventions

Required Qualifications:

Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
NBRC Certification as CRT or RRT
Valid Virginia State License
Current BLS Certification (AHA Healthcare Provider)
ACLS Certification or EKG & Pharmacology Course certification
3+ years of clinical respiratory therapy experience
Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills
