Day and Night shifts available. Night shift has a $2 differential. American Berry is seeking experienced maintenance technicians who know how to keep a food plant going. The right person will know how to troubleshoot equipment, do preventative maintenance, and will be reliable. Compensation: $32+ based on experience $2 night differential if applicable Responsibilities: • Monitor and troubleshoot plant equipment (dryers, evaporators, filters, packaging, etc.) • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and within the facility • Respond to production concerns or struggles to help diagnose and fix problems • Communicate effectively with leads, mangers, and other maintenance technicians to properly transition shifts and document maintenance related items • Monitor parts supply and communicate any purchasing needs or concerns Qualifications: • Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic • Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications in maintenance, industrial mechanics, or a related field are a plus. • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in industrial maintenance, ideally in a food manufacturing environment. Skills & Knowledge: • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment. • Familiarity with PLCs and basic control systems. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. • Knowledge of safety standards, including OSHA and GMP regulations. • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks. • Comfortable working in a plant environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
