A hospital in Jackson, WY is looking for a full-time, permanent Registered Nurse to join their Surgical Services team! The ICU RN will provide direct clinical care to patients of all ages and may float to other hospital areas.Essential Functions:
- Gathers and evaluates patient data, manages care efficiently for multiple patients, adapts care plans to individual needs, and ensures continuity of care.
- Assesses and addresses educational, spiritual, and emotional needs of patients and families, facilitates informed decision-making, and incorporates education into care plans.
- Identifies and mitigates risks, administers medications safely, evaluates pain management, promptly reports incidents, and ensures proper equipment usage.
- Manages specimen collection and daily routines, maintains department cleanliness, participates in Performance Improvement, ensures accurate charging and documentation, and acts appropriately in emergencies.
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- 1 year of inpatient OR experience required
- Current RN License in Wyoming
- BLS required at hire
- ACLS and PALS or ENPC certification within 3 months of hire
- CPI certification within 6 months of hire
