- Handle inbound calls and emails with professionalism, speed, and accuracy
- Understand customer needs and recommend the right parts
- Read and interpret Bill of Materials (BOMs), drawings, and manuals to find the perfect part fit
- Work with internal experts to solve technical issues
- Stay in touch with vendors to confirm lead times and availability
- Keep customers updated on orders, backorders, and special requests
- Maintain detailed customer records and process orders in our CRM and ERP systems
- Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Keep your product knowledge sharp through training and hands-on experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training a plus)
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales or parts counter roles — bonus if it’s in heavy equipment or powertrain systems
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems and/or technical documentation
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems, plus Microsoft Office (Salesforce experience a plus)
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
