We are looking for a motivated Hardware and Rack Integration Engineer (L11) to help shape the future of next-generation rack products. In this role, you will lead the design, integration, and validation of rack-level solutions that power large-scale data center environments. You’ll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, program management, procurement, and customer-facing teams to ensure our racks meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and quality. - Lead the design, development, and integration of new rack products, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Partner with program management to drive schedules, track milestones, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Support cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Program Management) and customers from Engineering Validation Test (EVT) through Production Validation Test (PVT).
- Collaborate with design, supply chain, and operations teams to align technical requirements with program goals.
- Analyze technical specifications and documentation to ensure compliance with design requirements.
- Own rack integration activities including testing, troubleshooting, and hands-on support during product ramp-up.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, test reports, and status updates for traceability and compliance.
- Provide training and technical guidance to internal teams and system integrators.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
- Hands-on experience with rack-level hardware design, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with servers, rack systems, and network technologies.
- Knowledge of mechanical, manufacturing, and quality engineering principles.
- Experience collaborating with program management on project tracking, deliverables, and milestone execution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Agile PLM or SAP preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or Quality Engineering preferred.
