Reports to: Floor Manager / General ManagerOverview:
We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Server or Lead Server to join our front-of-house team at Noii Sushi. In this role, you are more than a server—you are a storyteller, guide, and host, curating memorable dining experiences for our guests through warm hospitality, refined service, and deep menu knowledge. The ideal candidate brings poise, passion, and leadership to every table.Key Responsibilities:
● Deliver thoughtful, personalized service with attention to guest needs and preferences.
● Confidently guide guests through the food and beverage menu, offering curated recommendations and upselling specials or seasonal items.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready dining area at all times.
● Anticipate guest needs and proactively address concerns or special requests.
● Ensure smooth and efficient communication between front- and back-of-house teams.
● Assist with training and mentoring of new team members when applicable.
● Manage guest complaints or recovery moments with empathy, professionalism, and composure.
● Foster repeat visits by building genuine rapport and memorable experiences.
● Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols.Qualifications:
● Prior serving experience in a high-volume or upscale dining environment (lead server experience preferred).
● Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and beverage culture (preferred but not required).
● A natural leader with a collaborative and team-first mindset.
● Exceptional multitasking abilities and grace under pressure.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Familiarity with POS systems and basic wine, sake, and cocktail knowledge.
● A sincere passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
