
Senior PCB Layout Designer

- Executing schedules for PCB design and layout activities to support on-time release of new products
- Working with requestors to ensure requirements are clearly defined and documented
- Generating documentation including electrical schematics and Bill of Materials, and tooling data, and managing the controlled release process
- Managing relationships with 3rd party PCB manufacturing partners through communication, quoting, purchasing, and monitoring of technical capabilities
- Performing incoming inspection on new PCB designs and providing feedback to suppliers on quality concerns
- Providing technical expertise in Power PCB design, layout, and manufacturing to the rest of the team
- 7+ years PCB design experience including at least 2 years of Switching Power supply PCB design
- Extensive knowledge of Cadence Allegro required
- Experience designing high power-density power management circuits, possibly in a power module development environment
- Solid understanding of signal integrity routing and common impedance effects.
- Awareness of inductive and capacitive effects in fast switching circuits, possibly gained in an RF environment.
- Strength in documentation clarity and completeness
- Team player with a strong sense of urgency to meet product requirements on schedule
- Familiarity with substrate design, materials, practices, and fabrication facilities is highly desirable
- The ability to work with minimal supervision including effective time management, prioritization, and organization
- The ability to work independently and collectively in a team environment
