- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification
- Preference given for dual accreditation in Neurology and/or previous experience with ganglion nerve block (not required)
- Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) Preferred but not required
- Deliver superior patient care with a strong therapeutic approach to clients undergoing detoxification and stabilization for substance use and co-occurring psychiatric disorders (e.g., Major Depressive Disorder, PTSD, OCD, Bipolar Disorder).
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and initiate evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams.
- Monitor withdrawal symptoms and coordinate medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to ensure safe detoxification, with close attention to physical and psychiatric stabilization.
- Perform History & Physicals (H&Ps) upon admission and as clinically indicated throughout the patient's stay.
- Consult with staff on medical and psychiatric issues, supporting safe and effective clinical decision-making.
- Emphasize relapse prevention and recovery planning, integrating family therapy when appropriate to support long-term outcomes.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to clinical concerns or emergencies.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills, contributing to a supportive and accountable clinical environment.
- Maintain appropriate clinical boundaries, demonstrating professionalism and compassion.
- Adapt to a dynamic care environment, open to policy changes, clinical feedback, and ongoing learning opportunities.
- Participate in continuous professional development, keeping current with best practices in psychiatric detox and addiction treatment.
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic and detox-related medications, including assessing for side effects, misuse potential, and interactions.
- Educate patients and families on the purpose, risks, and expectations of prescribed treatments.
