This innovative organization, with $60M in annual revenue, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controller to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a remote position with occasional travel to their Central Texas headquarters to collaborate closely with the executive team.Title: Controller

Job Type: Contract-to-HirePosition Overview: As a Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring the continued success of the company. This position requires a strong leader who is willing to be very hands-on and is interested in training and mentoring staff. You will manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with the executive team to develop financial strategies and plans.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Utilize strong NetSuite expertise to optimize financial processes and systems.
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department.
Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with NetSuite is required.
  • Proven track record in a leadership role within a finance department.
  • Experience in government contracting is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to the Central Texas headquarters.
