No direct reports. Has both internal and external contacts. The most common internal contacts are with staff of other departments and department leaders. The most frequent external contacts are with patients and their guests. Both types of interactions involve information exchange, good customer service and problem solving.POSITION SUMMARYAssigns, trains and oversees duties and projects on assigned shifts. Processes, updates and schedules meeting room set ups and requests. Assists manager with projects, inventory procurement and Purchase Service Contracts. Provides clerical support as requested. When short staffed assist with the daily cleaning and supplying of assigned areas which may include patient rooms, nurse stations, lounges, laboratories, bathrooms and offices following the cleaning procedure as outlined in the Environmental Services Department Policies & Procedures and in accordance with the facility's objectives. Will use all cleaning devices. Will train staff on equipment which may include wet mops, small wringers, dusters, household type vacuum cleaners and other necessary tools, products and supplies, auto scrubber, extractors and buffers for floor care and carpet care. Will assure training and competency completion. Will be the Administrator for the MSDS Online Account.ACCOUNTABILITIES1. Ability to communicate and to receive instructions both verbally and in writing. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of basic computer use.
