Senior IT Operations Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
  • Provision, build, configure, and deploy physical and virtual servers in the regional datacenter(s) or local/remote BU sites
  • Build, configure and deploy storage (SAN) systems in the regional datacenter(s) or local/remote Business Units sites
  • Administrate MS Active Directory, MS Exchange enterprise environments
  • Configure, monitor, tune, perform trend analysis, and performance optimization of MS Servers, MS Active Directory, MS SQL Server and VMWare ESX
  • Maintain and manage Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 Terminal Server farms
  • Maintain and manage Windows patch management environment
  • Monitor, tune, trend analysis, and performance optimization of physical and virtual servers
  • Recover failed physical and virtual servers in the event of a catastrophic failure
  • Monitoring, tuning, trend analysis, and performance optimization of SAN storage systems
  • Recover failed SAN storage systems in the event of a catastrophic failure
  • Recover MS Servers, MS Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS SQL Server, and VMWare ESX in the event of a catastrophic failure
  • Experienced in the Setup and Management of Symantec NetBackup and Veeam with Quantum storage devices.
  • Document all IT Operations issues as they are reported using the current IT ticketing system
  • Participate in an after-hours (24x7) support on-call rotation Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess :
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and MS Exchange in a large multi-server environment
  • Experience with VMware and Windows Server OS in both physical and virtual environments
  • Experience with NetBackup and Veeam with Quantum storage devices
  • Experience with NetApp SAN storage would be a plus
  • Excellent computer, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills for work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Ability to multitask and operate with minimal supervision, adjusting priorities accordingly
  • Able to maintain a professional demeanor under stress
  • Demonstrated a willingness to learn and adapt to changes in technology
Basic Minimum Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
  • At least three to five years of experience as a System Administrator or equivalent position required
  • Proficiency with MS Active Directory, SAN Storage, and VMware required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows XP/7/2003/2008/2012 operating systems, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office
  • Up to 40% domestic travel
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Lancaster, Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply.
