Seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up commercial construction projects ranging from $10M to $100M in value. The ideal candidate will managing large-scale developments from preconstruction through project closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to successfully manage clients, subcontractors, and project teams.Lead all phases of ground-up commercial construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and project execution.Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design intent and constructability.Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, scope alignment, and performance oversight.Oversee project schedules, budgets, change orders, and cost controls, ensuring accurate reporting and financial performance.Monitor field operations to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.Provide leadership to project teams, including assistant project managers, engineers, and superintendents.Resolve project challenges proactively, ensuring alignment with client expectations.Lead project closeout, including punch lists, turnover documentation, and warranty compliance.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Excellent salary, benefits and company cultureBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).7+ years of progressive project management experience with ground-up commercial construction.Demonstrated success managing projects in the $10M-$100M range.Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and cost management.Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Deep understanding of safety regulations and quality control standards.Experience working in the Portland, Oregon market preferred.Our client is a well-known top ENR commercial GC.
