The Impact You'll MakeIn the Senior Supply Chain Business Manager role, you will define metrics and monitor supplier performance against the KPIs to ensure continuous supplier improvement. You regularly evaluate quality and sets performance benchmarks, and assess the risks associated with the preferred supply base selection.What You Will Do:
  • Work continuously on process improvement to deploy & develop best known methods related to procurement, inventory control (e.g., Consignment, JIT, Kanban, min/max) & manufacturing strategies.
  • Initiate and coordinate early supplier involvement in highly technical and/or contractually complex new products parts design using the suppliers' expertise to optimize quality and manufacturability.
  • You'll establish goals with supplier to ensure material delivery meet forecasted demand.
  • Be the point of contact for escalations to resolve shortages.
  • Represent supplier business management on cross-functional commodity teams that focus on supply challenges, and to ensure internal/external customer needs are satisfied.
  • Partner with engineering and the supplier(s) to resolve complex problems, to ensure on time delivery of critical material in order to support customer and company requirements.
  • Develop presentations, white papers, process flow charts to support continuous process improvement projects.
Who We're Looking ForQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Materials Science, Logistics, or related technical discipline.
  • Twelve (12) years of experience in a similar role.
  • Solid data analytical skills with the ability to develop into action plans.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with ability to communicate cross-functionally and with various levels of the organization, including Executives.
  • Understanding of operational processes and interdependencies.
  • Previous work experience in commodity management, procurement, contracting, materials management, operations management
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
