- High School, GED, Vocational School, Trade School, Technical School, Associate degree and/or Higher Level of Education with a minimum of (1) year of hands-on experience working as a Field Service Technician servicing Industrial Bulk Material Handling Equipment, Conveyors, Overhead Cranes or other Lifting Systems.
- Able to read and understand mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, installation and troubleshooting manuals.
- Perform assembly, equipment installation, troubleshooting, start-up, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance.
- Candidate must have their own hand-tools.
- Proficient in the use of Electrical / Electronic Test Equipment and use metrological instruments such as micrometers, hand and power tools.
- Candidates must be able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including AC and DC electrical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspect mechanical and electrical systems on material handling systems and overhead cranes.
- Work safely and efficiently at heights of up to 100 feet.
- Solid organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
