- Logs internal client calls for assistance and proposes solutions or directs their calls to those within the department who are responsible for resolving the issue.
- Monitors request backlog and follows-up on staff/department assignments to verify action is being taken/planned and that the client is being kept informed of the progress.
- Requests training as appropriate in meeting the requirements of the position.
- Assists writing Help Desk documentation for the staff and offers assistance to other Help Desk coordinators.
- Advises management of status of projects as required.
- Coordinates projects when needed.
- Is able to perform job with minimal assistance.
- Assists Programmer/Analysts with identifying the source of an application problems.
- Conducts group meetings and presentations within MIS as required.
- Fulfills management reporting requirements as may be requested.
- This is a safety sensitive position.
