
Senior Manager, Compensation Consulting

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- CCP, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR-HR, or SPHR-HR designation
- 10+ years of experience in strategic compensation consulting including client-facing roles and leadership and growth responsibilities
- Strong understanding of compensation principles to include board governance, compensation committee communications, proxy filings, market analysis, job architecture, job description development, salary structures, leveling, development of pay guidelines, pay equity analysis, cost analysis, long term and short term incentive plan design, executive compensation, union compensation, sales incentive plans, benefits benchmarking and total rewards program design, knowledge of compensation benchmarking methodologies and survey participation, and experience with working within compensation survey data bases and data manipulation and analytics.

- Experience working in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Knowledge of HRIS platforms and compensation management software.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task within high volume environment with minimal supervision.
- Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- Recent experience working with a national professional services or compensation consulting firm
- Working knowledge of tax impacts of various compensation components
- Experience working with various industries and ownership structures including publicly and privately owned companies, private equity, family offices, exempt organizations and state and local governments
- Ability to learn quickly, deal with ambiguity, and think independently
- Ability to lead, impact and influence change
- Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy during the process of educating, mentoring, and coaching staff and management
- Experience working with project management technologies/tools (Smartsheet, etc.)
