Talascend is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for a contract opportunity with our client in Indianapolis, Indiana.OverviewThe role involves providing financial analysis services to US Defence Finance and Program teams, supporting the development and maintenance of financial plans, and ensuring adherence to accounting policies and internal controls.Responsibilities
  • Provide financial analysis services to US Defence Finance and Program teams.
  • Support in developing and maintaining their Five-Year Plan, in year forecasts and APY ops/threats for contracts responsible.
  • Support adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, company policies, local operating procedures, and contract requirements.
  • Contribute to business wide control environment and process improvements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of long-term project and contract profit plans.
  • Provide adhoc support such as, but not limited to, contract billings and payments, misc. financial analysis as required for the Defence Finance Team, support of smaller contracts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors in Accounting - Must have
  • 5 years minimum experience in Accounting
Requirements
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which requires US Citizenship

  • SAP
  • Someone who has worked in big industry, would like someone to hit the ground running
