- Ensure alignment of IT and business strategies while managing people, processes, and technology toward effective business-driven solutions.
- Build effective working relationships with functional business and manufacturing personnel.
- Be an application and business process subject matter expert.
- Support and monitor systems, processes, and applications to assure system integrity and reliability.
- Manage the effective use of technology for business process engineering, continuous improvement, and eliminating non-value-adding activities.
- Ensure projects have documented objectives, requirements, budgets & timelines.
- Review requests for application and system enhancements, improvements, and implementations to identify impact on current/planned resources and activities.
- Coordinate and drive testing for applications, systems, and process upgrades to maintain pace with business requirements, technology upgrades, and economic change.
- Manage strategic alliances with internal and external service and support providers.
- Help define policies, procedures, and standards to support business applications, systems, and processes.
- Provide planning, consultation, and advisory services for business and operating functions.
- Assist users in identifying and developing application and business process requirements.
- Lead in building relationships and working closely with business and work process owners.
- Responsible for coordinating the implementation of new business applications, processes, and systems.
- Provide effective communications and education for our customers and IT service providers.
- Lead in establishing and enforcing IT applications, systems, and process standards.
- Maintain awareness of current methods & technologies and recommend improvements and modifications when appropriate.
- Prepare project reports documenting the scope, benefits, resource requirements, and cost analysis when/where appropriate.
- Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans evolve and are updated.
- Perform and assume other duties and responsibilities as may be required at the direction of the HEW and IT Leadership Teams.
- BS in information services, computer engineering, or related business degree with appropriate experience.
- Prior experience with Oracle EBS and/or Fusion application implementation and/or support.
- Experience developing, analyzing & implementing business processes and technology systems.
- Project management experience is a must. (PMI and/or 6-Sigma certifications are a plus).
- Must have a strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Broad understanding of general business and management practices.
- Strong technical background focused on SQL.
- Strong background in integration development, SharePoint, Azure Integration Services, and EDI Services.
- Understanding business processes as they relate to broad business operating functions such as: finance, manufacturing, supply chain, sales & marketing, human resources, etc.
- Balancing ‘hands-on’ technical requirements while managing and facilitating higher-level projects.
- Ability to assess and translate broad business requirements into implementing solutions, automation, and process improvements.
- Designing & implementing systems and solutions within budget that meet the needs of the business.
- Planning, coordinating, and scheduling time and resources efficiently.
- Managing expectations of ‘clients’, peers, staff, and others as required.
- Managing indirect and project-based resources; including consulting & contract personnel.
- Working toward deadlines on multiple, concurrent projects with competing resources.
