Drug Test & Background Check: RequiredPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a manufacturing facility in Bluffton, Indiana. This role plays a critical part in keeping production running smoothly through troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance of CNC machines, robotics, and various mechanical and electrical systems.If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-based environment and want to grow your career in industrial maintenance, this is an excellent opportunity.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issuesTroubleshoot and maintain:CNC MachinesRoboticsElectrical Equipment (high and low voltage)Pneumatic & Hydraulic SystemsPerform preventative/predictive maintenanceWork from detailed work orders and document all repairsUse testing equipment (volt/ohm meters, etc.) to gauge performanceRebuild and reassemble machinery and production equipmentCollaborate with production, facilities, materials, and engineering teamsRequirementsEducation: Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experienceExperience: Minimum 3 years performing maintenance on:CNC MachinesHydraulic & Pneumatic EquipmentIndustrial RoboticsHigh and Low Voltage Electrical SystemsTechnical Skills:Solid understanding of ladder logic/controlsAbility to troubleshoot and repair 480V 3-phase and low-voltage AC/DC systemsProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookComfortable working in a fast-paced team environmentPhysical RequirementsLift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly; push/pull up to 100 lbs occasionallyFrequent standing, walking, gripping, reaching, and bendingMust be able to work around chemicals with proper PPEVisual and mental attention to detail is criticalWill work in, around, and beneath heavy machineryNote: This is a performance-based contract-to-hire role.
