- Monitors assigned number of Unclaimed Property portfolios - State Custody Contracts.
- Monitors and facilitates day-to-day operations of all transaction orders (Buys, Sells, Transfers, cash movements) within assigned portfolios of all securities.
- Problem solving on settlement or reconcilement.
- Handles all customer communications.
- Monitors proper execution of customer instructions.
- Handles all communications with claimants and securities transfer partners.
- Performs account research related to inquires as instructed by clients.
- Manages security account histories/certificate status research as needed.
- Manages claimant processes as required.
- Maintains clear, open and respectful communications with state personnel, vendors and stock transfer agents.
- Handles finances for all accounts within assigned portfolio, including invoicing and tracking receivables.
- Continuously evaluates and identifies process improvements to day-to-day operations.
- Creates and complies reports as requested by customers or management.
- Assists with training and development new associates.
- Identifies exceptions and perform research to resolution.
- Performs reconciliation of mutual fund brokerage statements received in house.
- Creates and compiles exceptions reports.
- A willingness and desire to assume additional tasks when needed
- Detail focus yet able to provide strategic insights for day-to-day operations
- Be able to converse readily with public and private sector customers
- Able to work well individually and within a team and a willingness to help others
- Communicate clearly and have a proficiency in MSWord, Excel
- Motivated Self Starter and deadline driven
- Solid customer service skills with supporting experience
- Multi-task capacity in deadline driven environment with excellent prioritization and organizational skills
- Proven ability to meet and exceed deadlines and goals as assigned by management
- Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- This role can be a hybrid of in office and remote work from home once training is completed
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office setting, at an individual work station, using telephone and computer
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine
- This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
- The person in this position frequently communicates via telephone
