· Mechanical design and layout trades contributing to overall system architecture configuration selection, requiring knowledge and experience in understanding, collaborating and trading complex inputs from multiple other disciplines - Electrical, RF, Thermal, Dynamics, Mechanisms, Materials, Manufacturing, Assembly, and Test.
· Generate detailed designs with 3D CAD assemblies/components and 2D drawings as deliverables.
· Conduct static, dynamic, and modal structural analysis as needed to support design work.
· Deliver efficient designs capable of high volume production throughput (DFM, DFA).
· Documentation and presentation of materials for technical design reviews.
· Design and support test campaigns, both development and qualification/acceptance, for space hardware.Export Control Requirement:

- 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with prototyping and implementationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume

The base pay for this position ranges from $105,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
