- Experience in developing and delivering nationwide certified training programs.
- Prior experience as a Federal Law Enforcement officer.
- LEITP certification via FLETC to FLETA-accredited standards.
- Advanced knowledge of LMR communications systems, Codeplug, IP-based communications, NTIA and FCC regulations.
- Experience as an instructor at a Police Academy, FLETC, or similar institution.
- Experience in planning and coordinating interoperability during multi-agency, multi-discipline, and multi-jurisdictional public safety operations.
- Proficiency in various training delivery platforms.
- Advanced understanding of RF propagation, antenna characteristics, and RF safety requirements/regulations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance in accordance with agency requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze and report on training program metrics.

- Manage the development and implementation of a tactical communications training program, including the creation of training objectives and a nationally certified curriculum.
- Deliver diverse training sessions on tactical communications for varying skill levels.
- Collaborate with program management to assess training needs and establish partnerships.
- Engage with engineers and technicians to understand the application of communication systems, networks, and subscriber devices in federal law enforcement operations.
- Lead a team of instructors and support staff to deliver high-quality training programs adhering to federal and law enforcement standards.
- Develop terminal and enabling objectives based on agency missions, policies, and laws.
- Ensure the quality of training programs through skill assessments, examinations, and evaluations to implement process improvements and delivery standards.
- Coach the instructor team on technical, operational, and training delivery objectives to enhance team cohesion.
- Manage overall program delivery using strategic data analysis to report metrics to management.
