Hire and manage parking attendants. Develop the training for parking department staff, including guest service and safety training. Responsible for establishing and maintaining efficient traffic flows to maximize parking.Essential Functions/Major ResponsibilitiesMaintain a functioning parking structure throughout the day in Mt. Bachelor parking areas.Prepare parking areas for guest arrival using traffic cones, rope lines, movable signage, and other methods as needed.Manage and train staff to perform work safely.Manage the department to meet budget goals.Manage labor through scheduling, daily monitoring, and Workday. Communicate variations to the Manager.Coach and evaluate staff.Provide staff with the tools and training to deliver exceptional guest service.Assist guests with vehicle issues, including lockouts, tows, and jumpstarts, safely and responsibly.Responsible for maintenance and placement of signage that allows Mt. Bachelor parking operation to function efficiently and safely, and in accordance with D.M.V. laws and U.S. Forest Service rules.Patrol for vehicles parked in restricted areas and issue warnings, tickets, or, if necessary, place the boot on the vehicle.Secondary FunctionRemove snow from emergency exits around lodges and other areas.Monitor snowfall areas on parking-lot-adjacent sides of buildings and mitigate or block off as needed.Oversee paid parking areas. Ensure the Parking Attendant has a working tablet to check in paid parking guests.Writing citations.Booting vehicles.Picking up trash in parking lots.Stock supplies in the Dog Park area and remove waste as needed.Scheduling of parking attendants and timekeeping.Assisting guests with jump starts, performing lockout services, and other duties as assignedReplenish cinders, spread as needed to promote safe walking areas.Drive parking truck(s) as needed on Mt. Bachelor property and up/down to Bend to keep work schedule and supervise/execute parking lot operations.Conduct Employee Safety Trainings.After completing training, assist with snow removal using heavy equipment.Job ScopeThe Supervisor works early mornings through late afternoons, with possible midday ski/ride breaks occasionally. Reports to the Manager of Base Operations for all aspects of proper operation of the parking department in supporting the mission and goals of Mt. The Parking Supervisor should possess the ability to relate to and communicate with the managers and staff employed within these departments.Specific Job SkillsLicense/Certifications: Current and valid Driver’s License required.
