- Accountable to directly identify and initiate business development opportunities that provide sustained and profitable revenue streams across multiple services.
- Develop and execute a business plan that will achieve sales quota and budget as defined by the company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, showcasing our services and solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Present an array of logistics solutions that enable numerous entry points into accounts.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts and KPI updates to sales management.
- The wage range for this position is $25.00-$34.40 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Three (3) to five (5) years Freight Forwarding sales experience preferred. Operational Freight Forwarding experience a big plus!
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and grow revenue in a commission environment.
- Knowledge of international logistics and supply chain solutions.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to be persuasive to negotiate with a strong business acumen.
- Adaptable to rapid and frequent changes to address the needs of clients and goals of AIT.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to develop new ideas and innovative solutions.
- High drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new business opportunities.
- Strong time management, organizational and analytical skills.
