- Responsible for partnering with Porters and dishwashers following glassware being washed and sanitized to inspect imperfections, dry water spots, stocking and support Front of House (FOH) team with glassware for service
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines by following Soho House Company policies, procedures, and standards and local, state, and federal law as applicable Dispose of any broken/chipped/defective glassware to maintain the safety of our guests
- Clean and polish stemware, flatware and all bar glassware
- Partner with barbacks and housekeeping team to restock glassware for all bars and minibars (when applicable)
- Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure members and guests experience and service is upheld to the highest standards
- Support bartenders in wiping down bottles, cleaning and maintaining bar
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
- Minimum 1+ year of experience
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Detail oriented and thrive in fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and work and works well under pressure
- Keen eye for detail and “perfection” even if it requires repetitive task
- Basic verbal communication skills
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
- Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.
- Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 40 pounds.
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
