
Senior Manager, Executive Communications

- 6+ years of communications experience with at least 3 of those years in the executive communications space (pitching speaking engagements, drafting award submissions, securing research-backed thought leadership opportunities, and prepping/media training senior level executives)
- Strong relationships with event programmers and press in the media, advertising, marketing, business, sports, tech and/or financial markets.
- Familiarity with advertising and media conference circuit (CES, SXSW, NewFront, Upfront, Cannes Lions, Advertising Week)
- Highly organized individual with experience managing a calendar of events and awards with multiple deadlines and budgets
- Exceptional writing skills, with experience drafting op-eds, white papers, press releases, speeches, abstracts and award submissions.
- Ability to handle confidential information with care and professionalism.
- Proactive team-player with the ability to execute tasks with precision.
- Proven ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- NY-Based with ability to travel domestically and internationally; this role may occasionally require extended hours to meet deadlines or support key events.
- Able to commit to a hybrid, in-office requirement of 3 days a week minimum.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience or demonstrated interest working in advertising sales, media or a related B2B environment.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization with strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and an enterprise-mentality ensuring alignment with broader enterprise goals.
- Experience managing a direct report and/or team.
- Experience working directly with talent.
- A passionate consumer for media and culture, and a dedicated champion of NBCUniversal’s iconic IP.
