Job Description:The Firmwide Finance Business Architecture team (FFBA) is accountable for leading large-scale data, infrastructure, accounting standard and business process change management events and the Chief Data Office for Finance and TCIO. The team also provides a centralized program management and business analysis capability, targeted program governance, and consistent application of program management standards including system testing and change management practices, with a current focus on overseeing the Data Acquisition framework for strategic and legacy Finance, TCIO, and Wholesale Credit Risk platforms.A key objective of the Business Architect Team is to manage the delivery of large-scale infrastructure programs and business process change management events to ensure accurate, complete and consistent data is readily available for both internal financial reporting and external regulatory reporting purposes, consumed by both LOB stakeholders and corporate groups.One of the top priorities across Global Finance, Credit Risk and Liquidity is to evolve the organization to a more integrated data and reporting strategy - one that is globally consistent and usable for business, finance, risk and regulatory requirements.Job responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Firmwide Data acquisition technology, Data Management/Asset class controller teams, across Line of Business and Corporate reporting Functions to influence the development of and enhancements of the Firmwide Data sourcing strategy and tools.
  • Own the product vision, roadmap, technology prioritization and various milestones to deliver the desired vision aligned to regulatory reporting and LOB driven change requirements
  • Engage with senior technology and regulatory reporting team stakeholders to understand upcoming data sourcing requirements and agree sourcing strategies/plans.
  • Facilitate the oversight of the book of data quality issues and data sourcing gaps; ensure issues are clearly understood for prioritization
  • Enable data integrity by identifying and overseeing the implementation of data quality controls within AWS in partnership with Core services prod Owner teams.
  • Manage a team of product owners across multiple locations to help execute on data sourcing requirements
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • 10+ years of program or project management experience required, with a particular focus on data management and product ownership highly preferred
  • Strong core finance technical skills and a solid understanding of finance processes, infrastructure, and systems
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities, and thriving in a varied, fast-paced environment
  • Able to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels with strong team-orientation and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to lead across Lines of Business/Functions and geographies, strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; sound judgment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Data Bricks and data wrangling (e.g. Alteryx) experience is a plus
  • Experience with Agile delivery, JIRA, Confluence
