Communications
- Communicate routine and general information to staff, customers and/or public about standard services, processes, and procedures using
- prescribed, established guidelines or "frequently asked questions".
- Screen and direct clients/visitors to appropriate source.
- Secure confidential information and handle appropriately.
- Gather readily available information from office records to draft e-mails, memos and other documents.
- Proofread documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and basic formatting.
- Provide answers to requests for general information in written format.
- Use a variety of office equipment information systems (e.g. telephone, computer with standard software, fax, copier, etc.) to access, input, and verify standard information.
- Operate and perform tasks to maintain equipment with a general understanding of its capabilities.
- Use established filing and data systems, functions, and/or procedures.
- Review data and information for completeness and accuracy using standard guidelines.
- Speak up when team members appear to exhibit unsafe behavior or performance
- Continuously validate and verify information needed for decision making or documentation
