Role: QA InspectorReports to: IC/QA SupervisorLocation: Mooresville, INThe Role:As a QA Inspector, you inspect and evaluate finished goods to verify that they are constructed, manufactured, and they can function as designed and according to specifications. Inspection is based on conformance best practices for footwear.Your Impact:
  • Verifies quality standards and test procedures for product evaluation to attain quality.
  • Reviews new or modified specifications including documentation, diagram and flow chart to determine if finished goods will perform according to the Company’s standards and conform to guidelines.
  • Recommends corrections to Receiving Supervisor/production.
  • Enters instructions into computer to test program for validity of results, accuracy, reliability and conformance to establishment standards.
  • Identifies differences between established standards for all brands
  • Identifies the quality control problem and immediately informs Production Coordinator and Receiving Supervisor and documents the source and type of quality control problem.
  • Monitors finished goods to prevent recurrence of problems in order to ensure efficiency of operation.
  • Writes documentation to describe quality problem and maintains QA files.
