- Follows department and Casino procedures and policies as it relates to IT areas of responsibility.
- Assists with the successful overall installation, licensing, configuration, operation support and maintenance of all technical (IT) systems on property, including computers, printers, network, software, audio and visual equipment but excluding slot machines.
- Communicates effectively and clearly within the IT department and externally with all other casino departments and vendors on specific needs and/or problems.
- Assists in maintaining and organizing adequate supplies and equipment on hand, communicating the need to re-order in a timely manner.
- Ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction throughout the property is achieved and maintained.
- Accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of department documentation, records, and reports.
- Utilize IT service principles including network and system troubleshooting.
- Maintains consistent, regular attendance.
- Projects a positive, professional attitude with a strong customer focus.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Excellent analytical abilities, time management skills with a proven ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Logical thinker, ability to logically problem solve, proactive in resolving problems and troubleshooting.
- Two years' experience in computer operations or certification from technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must obtain a Class III gaming license issued by the Washington State Gaming Commission and Port Gamble S'Klallam Gaming Commission.
- Involves heavy lifting. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Frequently involves standing for sustained periods of time.
- Occasionally requires crouching.
- Often requires walking or moving about to accomplish tasks.
- Constantly requires working with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm.
- Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make fine discrimination in sound.
- Constantly requires verbally expressing or exchanging ideas or important instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Occasionally requires stooping which entails the use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
- Occasionally requires reaching by extending the hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
- Occasionally requires raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally.
- Constantly requires repetitive movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Requires clear vision at 20 inches or less, the ability to identify and distinguish color and to adjust focus.
