- Patient Population: Newborn to geriatric (ages 0-100+)
- EMR System: Epic
- Medication System: Pyxis
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Vermont or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- At least 1 completed travel nursing assignment
- Charge nurse experience required
- Recent EPIC EMR experience (within past 2 years)
- Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS or ENPC, TNCC (or proof of class), NRP, NIHSS
- Ability to work weekends and holidays; flexible scheduling required
- Reliable personal transportation (no public transit available)
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Perform ESI triage, IV insertion, drips/infusions, EKGs, restraint application, procedural sedation, and ambulance transports
- Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and ED techs in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Utilize telemedicine and telestroke consultations for patient care
- Serve as charge nurse and precept new nurses as needed
- Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
- Participate in patient transports to higher levels of care
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
