
Manufacturing Engineering Intern

- Intern will be responsible for designing engineering solutions for tooling, fixturing and/or controls while they are part of the Indy Ops process engineering team as they support new product launches.
- Will design equipment/tooling, quote equipment, present options, and execute options including ordering, build (with supplier, maintenance, tool room, controls and engineering support). Solutions will be implemented for pilot build preparation, launch, and existing products.
- Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion.
- High school diploma or GED required. Working towards Robotics Technology degree or Computer Integrated Manufacturing degree preferred.
- Training and experience in multi-axis robots, robot maintenance, robotic programming, and PLC Ladder Logic programming required.
- Working knowledge of motor controllers preferred.
- Working knowledge of proper use of abrasive products preferred.
- In addition, you ideally bring an ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete duties within specified times, but if not, we will happily provide the training and support you need to be successful!
