
Industrial Electrician

- Maintain and repair motors, starters, drives, and electrical systems (low, medium, and high voltage - including 480V and 4,160V)
- Troubleshoot and assess all Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation (EIA) systems across the Plant and Mine
- Perform maintenance on process control instruments (flow, temperature, pressure, and density)
- Adjust and calibrate hardware to maintain proper operation between automation and field systems.
- Handle daily and emergency work orders independently.
- Complete and follow all safety procedures and documentation (e.g., LOTO, Hot Work, Confined Space, Line Breaking, Pre-Job Hazard Analysis)
- Coordinate with area supervisors to prioritize tasks and delegate as needed.
- Accurately input maintenance data and updates into the CMMS
- Remain alert to and report any potential safety or environmental risks.
- Update and maintain asset records, BOMs, and electrical drawings.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of motors, drives, and electrical systems up to 4,160V.
- Support troubleshooting and routine checks of EIA systems across the Plant or Mine
- Perform preventative maintenance on instrumentation and assist in calibrations under supervision.
- Learn to adjust hardware/software interfacing automation with operations.
- Execute assigned work orders and assist during emergency repairs.
- Participate in safety programs including LOTO, Hot Work, and Hazardous Work protocols.
- Communicate with supervisors to understand daily priorities.
- Enter basic maintenance information into the CMMS.
- Remain safety-conscious and aware of your work environment at all times.
- Assist in updating asset information and reviewing electrical schematics.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- 2 years experience in an industrial setting or a certificate from a technical school is required.
- Steady Employment History
- Driver's License, Required (Operating Company Vehicles)
- All hourly applicants must complete the Florida Ready to Work or National Career ReadinessCertificate (NCRC) assessment. A minimum score of 3 in Math, 3 in Reading, and 3 in Data is required to be considered eligible for employment with Nutrien.
- Applicants must also complete the Florida Ready to Work Soft Skills Assessment and achieve a “Passed” status.
- Both certificates (Florida Ready to Work or NCRC and Soft Skills) must be uploaded along with your resume when submitting your application.
