To be a successful Technician at Kimberly-Clark requires understanding of basic design and development processes, application, and troubleshooting skills to build, test, and support equipment for manufacturing and converting of consumer health and hygiene products. You are able to demonstrate your previous experience, you work best under pressure, and you deliver high value to your team by owning issues through resolution, exercising strong situational judgement and favoring a proactive vs. reactive approach to equipment maintenance, while being flexible (in both mindset and practice) and working collaboratively with them toward team goals.You also…Electrical Qualifications:
  • Ability to do light mechanical work
  • Experience with registration Control Systems is preferred
  • Linear Feedback Control Systems
  • AC, DC, and Servo Motors and Control systems
  • Industrial/Manufacturing Power and Control Systems
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley Preferred)
  • AB Logix platform including integrated motion is highly desirable
  • High-Speed packaging Equipment
  • Use of E&I Test Equipment (VOM, O-Scope, Megger, Calibrators, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Electrical Codes and Standards
  • Knowledge of Basic AC and DC Electronics
  • Understanding of NPFA70E guidelines for PPE and boundaries
  • High level of reading/interpreting Electrical, Electronic, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Instrumentation Drawings, Schematics, and Technical Manuals
  • Working knowledge of some type of industrial control network such as ControlNet, EthernetIP or Profibus
  • General maintenance, instrumentation, DCS, and low to medium voltage electrical work experience is desirable
  • Application/Results orientation with primary focus on problem definition and generation of alternate solutions.
General Qualifications:
  • Internal Applicants: Minium 4C AE
  • Are 18 years or older and are authorized to work in the United States.
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates, 2-year technical degree, or greater in an industrial electrical field preferred, OR equivalent Military Education/Training, OR minimum of 2 years trade/work experience in a Paper, FMCG or related manufacturing field.
  • Can read and write basic English
  • Have experience with LEAN methodologies and conventional plant operations
  • Must be open to working a 28 day rotating 12-hour shift schedule if business needs arise
  • Are able to work flexible hours outside of normal day hours to cover a business need (i.e. to cover shortfalls within the team due to resourcing issues, to support a 24hr Call In Rota, etc.)
  • Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening
  • High level of Initiative and broad business perspective
  • Ability to provide innovative contributions in a Team environment
  • Customer focus when dealing with internal and external customers
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to discuss technical issues in a business environment
