This is a true sales hunter role responsible for generating new business, closing deals, and initiating the handoff to our account management team. Youll build relationships, own the client acquisition cycle, and play a key role in onboarding strategic shippers.Key Responsibilities:Identify and secure new customers with a focus on enterprise and high-volume freight accountsLeverage your network to grow your book and generate sustained GPPresent, negotiate, and close high-value freight contractsIntroduce new accounts to the operations team and ensure a smooth handoffMaintain strong industry awareness and monitor competitor activityTrack and report sales performance and pipeline metricsQualifications:5+ years of business development or B2B sales in freight brokerage and/or warehousingVerifiable and transferrable book of businessDemonstrated success in closing large accounts and high-margin freightStrong knowledge of logistics and transportation servicesHunter mentality self-driven, resourceful, and goal-orientedExcellent relationship-building and communication skillsBachelor's degree preferred (business, supply chain, or related field)Willingness to travel 25- 50% as needed for client meetings
