- Lead Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) Analysis: Drive the ongoing analysis and refinement of our Ideal Customer Profile, leveraging internal and external data sources to identify key attributes, behaviors, and firmographics that define our most valuable customers. Partner with Sales and Product teams to ensure alignment and operationalization of ICP insights.
- Develop Next-Level Marketing Metrics & Analytics: Design, implement, and maintain advanced marketing metrics and reporting frameworks across the entire marketing journey (awareness, consideration, conversion, retention). Move beyond traditional metrics to establish predictive models, attribution insights, and customer lifetime value (CLTV) analysis.
- Customer Lifecycle Performance Measurement: Establish comprehensive analytics for the customer lifecycle, identifying key touchpoints and opportunities for optimization. Develop dashboards and reports that provide a holistic view of customer engagement and value.
- Build Customer Marketing Metric Targets: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product leadership to develop data-driven, measurable targets for all key marketing initiatives and campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Annual Marketing Operating Plan & Target Setting: Lead the development of the annual marketing operating plan, including detailed target setting for pipeline generation, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue contribution. Provide strategic recommendations based on market trends and performance analysis.
- Team Leadership & Development: Serve as a direct leader for a team of marketing analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning, data integrity, and analytical rigor. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and impact.
- Data Governance & Infrastructure: Partner with IT and Data Engineering teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and the development of robust marketing data infrastructure. Champion best practices in data governance and privacy.
- Strategic Insights & Recommendations: Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights for marketing leadership and cross-functional teams. Proactively identify opportunities for marketing optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Technology & Tools: Evaluate, recommend, and implement marketing analytics tools and technologies to enhance reporting capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in marketing analytics, marketing operations, or business intelligence roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Proven expertise in defining, measuring, and analyzing marketing performance across various channels and the full customer lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing concepts, sales funnels, and customer journey mapping.
- Advanced proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Expert-level skills in SQL; experience with Python or R for statistical analysis is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing analytics teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect data to business outcomes and influence decision-making at all levels.
In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above.
