
Program Manager, Corporate Health & Safety

- Responsible for the implementation of newly revitalized FRC program
- Develop timelines, budgets, and deliverables while monitoring progress and risks
- Align initiatives with Buckeye safety standards and organizational priorities
- Ability to conduct extensive research on relative product trends in order to gain subject matter expertise and critical knowledge specific to projects and their ancillary components
- Ability to effectively manage resources from afar
- Makes informed decisions in collaborative manner with key stakeholders
- Manage relationships with vendor & distributors
- Partners with supply chain during the sourcing, contracting, and negotiation phases of projects to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance
- Serves in the capacity of a corporate liaison for regional stakeholders and external suppliers
- Develops and manages new projects aligned with Buckeye’s initiative execution
- Able to establish KPI’s to track vendor performance and resolve delivery and or service issues
- Collaborates with Change Management to ensure successful project planning, communication, and execution
- Partners with the Center of Excellence, Supply Chain, and Operations to gain insight and feedback for the overall objective of project
- Preferred Education - Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics management, or related field
- Acceptable Education - associate’s degree with a minimum of 5 years in a related field such as Project management, warehousing and material management, supply chain
- Position may require up to 50% travel but may vary depending on program deployments
- Must be able to obtain TWIC credentials and Passport for international business travels
- Field experience in the energy sector is required
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., travel via air
- Industry acknowledged certifications helpful
