- Coordinates and integrates Agency marketing activities through regular conferences with the CEO/President/Administrator, and/or other marketing personnel and supervisors.
- Utilizes marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections. Actively pursues new opportunities to expand home care services.
- Identifies and develops targeted referral sources including community organizations, case managers/facility discharge planners, healthcare providers, third party payers, and support organizations.
- Networks, establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral sources, community organizations and payer sources to increase referral volume, improve referral base, as well as knowledge of the agency and service throughout the service area.
- Builds and monitors community, customer, and payers’ perceptions of Compass Home Health & Rehab LLC as a high-quality provider of home care services.
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of Compass Home Health & Rehab LLC markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor’s market positioning and anticipates future changes and trends.
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares the information with leadership.
- Maintains documentation on all referral source contacts and reports business outcomes, including needs and feedback; and shares information with appropriate agency personnel.
- Maintains close communication with the intake personnel and clinical supervisors to assure adequate staffing to handle amount and location of service requests.
- Monitors and reports cost-effectiveness of marketing efforts, prepares reports on agency and business development activities for the leadership team.
- Has an ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
- Has knowledge of Home Care processes/policies and business management.
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft office systems.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours.
- Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.
- Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
