
Ag Service Manager Needed

- Oversee the overall performance of the Service Department, meeting revenue and profit goals as defined in the annual and monthly plans.
- Manage customer relationships, department staff productivity, and service quality.
- Provide leadership and guidance to achieve department goals, promoting the company's vision, mission, and culture.
- Enforce safety practices and manage within OSHA guidelines.
- Handle recruitment, hiring, training, discipline, and firing to ensure competent staffing.
- Manage the appearance, upkeep, and security of the shop and related facilities.
- Make recommendations to the General Manager on staffing and compensation.
- Inform the General Manager of any issues related to service operations promptly.
- Attend required meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Some college or trade school required.
- Experience with major equipment brands preferred.
- 5+ years in a responsible position within the ag equipment service industry.
- 1-3 years of sales experience.
- 3-5 years administrative/clerical experience.
- 3-5 years supervisory/management experience.
- 5+ years of customer service experience.
- 5+ years of technical or mechanical experience.
