Description :The IT Enterprise Core Systems Manager is responsible for providing leadership and technical direction and support to the core enterprise applications. This position will maintain a high level of systems availability and ensure Core system operations are executed properly and on time, including business continuity or disaster recovery scenarios. The position is fundamental in identifying, recommending, implementing, and supporting technology solutions. The position will lead teams in diagnosing and resolving complex technology issues and requires the application of thoughtful analysis and independent judgment. This position works closely with all departments throughout the organization. The position is also responsible for managing relationships with vendors and service providers.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams responsible for enterprise Core systems, member-facing applications, and operational support.
  • Define team goals, success measures, and technical strategy to ensure system stability, process execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Inspire and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Oversee the development of supervisors to build leadership capacity and ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise Core systems, including updates, ongoing releases, and regulatory changes.
  • Ensure system integrity, data security, and compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation such as system admin guides, procedures, and change control records.
  • Identify and implement process and policy enhancements to improve operational effectiveness and system maturity.
  • Develop and track KPIs to assess systems performance and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Act as a consultant to business units to understand workflows, reporting needs, and technical requirements.
  • Lead and participate in complex projects focused on innovation, efficiency, and digital transformation.
  • Support change deployments across production, test, training, and development environments, ensuring adherence to change control processes and effective communication.
  • Manage critical vendor relationships and contracts to ensure service quality and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee departmental budget planning, resource allocation, and adherence to financial targets.
  • Build strong partnerships across IT, Product Management, Software Development, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear communication of priorities, expectations, and progress across teams and leadership.
  • Manage and maintain all related Server and Database systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business (or related field) required. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience combined with 2 years of excellent leadership experience. Experience with managing critical vendors required. Knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications, required. Knowledge of Oracle, MSSSQL Database Systems and Workload Automation Systems and workflows, required.. Security + certification preferred. Scrum Master certification or relevant experience required. Project management experience or demonstrated strong organization skills required. Experience with GitHub, Jira, Confluence or related tools required. Able to demonstrate advanced SQL coding for data mining and building reports. Self-motivated individual with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. Willingness to work outside of normal business hours. Ability to communicate with Executive Management. Strong technical leader with solid people management skills. Excellent English oral and written communication skills. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records.Performance Standard:Understand and direct computer system and implement resolution to system problems. Make recommendations to meet the goals and objectives of the Credit Union functions, procedures, and policies. Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.Physical Requirements:
  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
