Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation — and we have a dynamic future ahead.​ As the Assembler B, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of finished water heater products. You will work as part of a team to ensure that products meet quality and safety standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assemble water heaters according to established procedures and specifications.Follow detailed instructions and blueprints to ensure accurate assemblyUse personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:High School degree or equivalent.1+ year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.Technical training in schematics, wiring, and plumbing is preferred.COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, CERTIFICATIONS & ABILITIES
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Mechanical, plumbing, and electrical wiring certified.
  • Impact and pneumatic tools.
  • Mechanical and electrical assembly of finished products.
  • Basic computer skills.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS
  • Understanding of deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Constantly involves walking, bending at the neck, and reaching above and below the shoulder level.
  • Frequently involves bending at the neck and waist, and power grasping.
  • Occasionally involves bending at the waist, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, twisting at the neck and waist, simple grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling, and lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
  • Involves working around equipment and machinery, walking on uneven ground, exposure to excessive noise, extreme temperatures or humidity and is required to use protective equipment as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:Work in manufacturing environment.
