Qualified candidates should possess a broad knowledge across the software development tech stack.General responsibilities include:
  • Ansible collection, role and playbook development and automation scripts within a community developed common codebase
General knowledge of Kubernetes and specific knowledge and experience with Red Hat OpenShift
  • Installation of system wide upgrades and maintenance
  • Assist with the onboarding of applications into the Galaxy testbed
  • Monitoring and maintenance of system dashboards, logs, audits
  • Maintaining system documentation and onboarding guides using gitlab pages, markdown and confluence.
  • Compliance with and implementation of security requirements for deployment
  • Collaborating with internal technical teams and supplier support
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with Ansible
  • Experience with Kubernetes container management systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot solutions across the tech stack including networks, storage, compute, and application layers
  • Basic understanding of security principles and how to map/trace them to IT components and functions
  • Strong problem-solving mindset
  • U.S. Citizenship (CUI data requirement); ability and willingness to obtain Secret Security Clearance
Desired skills
  • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift
  • Experience with developing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with scripting languages and tools such as Python, with the ability to learn and transition to new programming languages as needed
  • Experience with DevOps tools and concepts: Docker, Git (GitLab, GitHub), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD)
