SAIOP Counselor - Full TimeJoin a supportive team who values Compassion, Excellence, Collaboration, Inclusion, Hope, & Authenticity!SouthLight's Clinical Outpatient Services program located in Raleigh is excited to find a full-time IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) Qualified Professional Counselor to join the team!As our IOP Counselor, you will facilitate individual and group therapy, as well as maintain client records, including treatment planning, psychosocial assessments, and progress notes.Pay$19.00 per hour.ScheduleDaytime hours 830a-430p + availability to facilitate evening groups 6p-9p (40hrs/wk total)Admin work can be done from home and is flexible!BenefitsBeing a part of a non-profit behavioral health organization has some unique benefits, along with our incredible health insurance options. You would receive 10 paid holidays as well as PTO hours which would accrue at a rate of 10 hours per month. After 6 months you would be eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 4% match. SouthLight is also an approved employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF).We are excited to offer an additional benefit of Clinical Supervision Reimbursement. We will provide a monthly reimbursement of up to $200 (full-time) or $100 (part-time) to each associate level clinician electing this benefit for no more than 2 years, or until licensure is completed, whichever is first. Licensures eligible to receive this benefit include LCSWA, LCMHCA, LMFTA, LPA, LCASA, and CADC.Responsibilities of an IOP Qualified Professional Counselor
  • Screenings, intakes and assessments
  • Establishes a therapeutic counseling relationship with each assigned client
  • Individual and Group Therapy
  • Identifies elements of client crisis and responds appropriately
  • Participates in Peer Support Drop In services as needed to support SAIOP clients
  • Development and implementation of treatment strategies
  • Thorough/timely documentation
  • Participate in make-up group coverage on a rotating basis
Qualifications of an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) CounselorEducation/Licensure/Certifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Meets the requirements specified for a QP status
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • 12 Core Functions
  • Experience with dual diagnosis addictions and/or substance dependence/abuse
  • Ability to speak Spanish a plus, but not required
